PRAYER & PRAISES
Welcome to 2024! Our board is grateful to partner in prayer with our LCA community as we continue our search for a new Head of School!
Praises: Thank you for praying for Stephen of Graybeal & Associates, our consultant, who was diagnosed with leukemia late last year. He is on to his second round of treatments, and is considered to be in remission! Please continue to keep him in your prayers, that he can stay healthy and receive a bone marrow transplant (a donor is needed).
Philippians 2:13 – For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.
Requests: This month, our board will begin interviewing candidates who have been initially interviewed by Graybeal. Please pray for openness to God’s will and for discernment during these meetings.

APPEAL FOR SUPPORT
An appeal letter is going out in the month of December requesting support for a school-wide initiative to update various aspects of our curriculum. The letter is being sent out to a list of supporters from the school’s past and present. If you’d like to view this letter it can be seen by clicking below.

We want the LCA family to know and celebrate the wonderful opportunities that come from participation in this program. Please reach out to Mr. Kappes to learn more about the educational improvement tax credit program for 2024.
General Updates
We are so excited to celebrate Ministry Leader Day! We want to celebrate and honor not only our students pastors but all ministry leaders that pour into the lives of our students. I will be sending a separate email next week and we encourage you to forward this to all of your Pastors, Sunday school teachers, youth group leaders, etc. They will need to register by 1/31/24.

The health room is need of few items. If you have any new/gently used boys uniform pants or sweatpants in size 7/8 or Girls leggings size 7/8 we would greatly appreciate it! You can drop off in the main office.
We will be selling Wawa Shorti hoagie coupons in the main office to benefit the Athletics department. Each coupon is $6.00.

WE NEED YOU! Please sign up to be a Lunchroom Aide and monitor the students during their lunch period. $10/PIF awarded for every hour. When signing up, please try to be available for the entire time slot of 10:45AM-1:30PM.
