Collaborating
Our highly experienced yearbook teacher collaborates with the staff to give students specific assignments and roles. Students invest time working as a team to brainstorm their theme and elements for the year. The creative process is driven by the class vision for the yearbook. The yearbook team works to include the entire student body in the yearbook and places an important role in building community.
Creative Precision
Learning Design and Journalism
Students develop skills in design competency and artistic knowledge through carefully laying out pages according to design principles and best practices for page layouts. Students discuss picture photography techniques, caption writing, spacing, color schemes, and layout throughout the entire year, culminating in presenting the yearbook to the students, parents, and staff in the spring.

An Award Winning Yearbook
Our yearbook has won the top 10 percent portfolio award two times from the Varsity Yearbooks. The yearbook is a high quality production typically more than 100 pages in full color and averages over 200 copies sold each year.
