inclement weather reporting
With winter approaching, we wanted to review our inclement weather protocol for informing families of closures or delays.
Mrs. Hauser will send out a voicemail and text message to the phone number you provided in Renweb. Please check your Renweb for the phone numbers you have provided.
There will also be a message on Facebook and Instagram. It will also be listed on WFMZ. It would be helpful if you would sign up for weather alerts from WFMZ.
Girls on the run
On Saturday December 3rd our students that participated in Girls on the Run will be having a celebratory 5K at DeSales University at 10 am. We are inviting all LCA families to come out to cheer for our girls! Put this on your calendar and come out to support our students!
PiK my kid
In our ongoing efforts to enhance your children’s safety, we have decided to begin using the PikMyKid Dismissal App. Throughout the country, it has been proven to simplify dismissal, reduce traffic congestion, and most importantly, improve overall safety. The unique features of PikMyKid allow you, as parents, to easily change pick up modes, quickly delegate to an alternate individual for pickup, and even schedule for future pickup mode, pickup individual, and after care. This app allows you to be in full control of your child’s dismissal and it gives us, the school, complete information regarding dismissal and the ability to acknowledge every change and to instantly check your child’s dismissal status should you have a question.
We are very excited about this addition and know you will be too. We will be sending information out to you over the next few weeks and ask you to try it on your own. We will be fully implementing it on January 4th. To Learn a little more on your own, please check out the following link that will show you a few of the PikMyKid features.
Christmas concert
LCA’s annual Christmas Concert will be on Friday, December 2, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. Each person attending will need a ticket; all tickets are free.
Tickets are first-come, first served with a limit of 4 tickets per family and will be available to be picked up in the office.
parents night out
Parents night out is December 9th from 6:00-8:30. . Registration will include LCA students and their siblings only.
Siblings must be potty trained through age 12. There will be a movie, craft, pizza and snack. Registration can be found here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C094AA4A628A0F49-register
frozen treats
Athletics is selling ice cream and ice pops during lunch on select Fridays. December 16th is the next frozen treats date . The treats will be $1.
Bus Driver
LCA is in need of a bus driver for our beautiful bus! A CDL-B license is needed with school bus endorsement. Please contact the office for more information.
