PRAYER & PRAISES

Here we are in the final month of the year and this blessed Advent season, where we prepare to celebrate Jesus’ birth. It’s a season of hope and anticipation for us at LCA, and we invite you to join us in prayer, believing God will provide us with a new Head of School:

Please pray for the attributes/characteristics/fruit of the Spirit that we want to see our new leader (whomever he/she may be) possess, as found in Galatians 5:22-23  “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

Please also be in prayer for Stephen Reel, our consultant from Graybeal, who has been diagnosed with acute leukemia. While we still have others from Graybeal who will be working with us instead of Stephen, we certainly want to uplift him in prayer for his healing.

As a service project to the school the High School Student Council made the strings of lights that were used to decorate the school this morning.  Christmas lights are traditionally hung as a symbol that Jesus Christ is the Light of the World.  Their hope is that the lights will be an encouragement and reminder that as believers we are also to be a light to the world.

Booster Club

The LCA Booster Club is in need of a few people to help make our basketball season a success! We are in need of a snack stand coordinator, ticket sales coordinator, MS Girls basketball scoreboard operator and a scorebook keeper for our high school boys team. You do not need to have a child participating in basketball in order to volunteer. Email Janelle.Greer@lcamustangs.org if interested.

Have a Blessed Week!
