Allentown, PA – January 30, 2025 – Lehigh Christian Academy is proud to celebrate a historic achievement by senior basketball standout Jacob Lewis, who has reached the 2,000-point milestone in his high school career. This remarkable feat places Lewis among an elite group of only eight players in his district to ever achieve this scoring benchmark.
Lewis, a dedicated and talented athlete, has been a cornerstone of the Lehigh Christian Academy basketball program. His leadership, work ethic, and commitment to excellence have not only set records but also inspired his teammates and the entire school community.
Throughout his high school career, Lewis has consistently demonstrated excellence, averaging 31 points per game and contributing significantly in rebounds, assists, and steals. His scoring ability, paired with his defensive prowess and team-first mentality, has made him a standout in the district and beyond.
Lewis’s 2,000th point came during a free throw during the game against Notre Dame East Stroudsburg. The milestone moment was met with cheers from the crowd, teammates, and family members, celebrating an achievement that cements his legacy in LCA basketball history.
“I’m beyond grateful for my coaches, teammates, and family who have supported me every step of the way,” said Lewis. “This milestone means so much to me, but it’s also a reflection of the incredible support I’ve had throughout my journey. Most importantly, I thank God for giving me the strength, talent, and opportunity to play this game. Without Him, none of this would be possible.”
Faith has played a significant role in Lewis’s journey, guiding him through the highs and lows of his athletic career. His unwavering belief in God has fueled his perseverance, reminding him that his talents are a gift meant to glorify the Lord.
