Mission Statement: To provide a quality education that is Christ centered.
Goals: We desire to provide an education that possesses academic excellence, spiritual depth, and moral integrity; that trains students in the knowledge of and obedience to the Scriptures and promotes loyalty to God; that prepares students for Godly participation in the American society; and that prepares students for a continuing education.
Special Features: Certified teachers; classes in Spanish, art, music, instrumental music lessons, library, physical education; computer; remedial and enrichment classes; preschool; National Junior Honor Society; yearbook; sports program. K-8 students wear uniforms.
Enrollment Information: Begin accepting applications in January for the school year to begin in September. Students are tested and parents are interviewed before acceptance. Early application is important as there are waiting lists in some grades.
Accreditation/Membership: Association of Christian Schools International, charter member and accredited K-8. Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, member and accredited P-8.
Academic Standards: Quarterly report cards for grades 1-8; semi-annually for kindergarten. Progress reports sent at five-week period. Principal's Honor Roll: an overall average of 93% or higher in each subject area; High Honors: an overall average of 93% and maintain an 84% average or higher in each subject area; Honor Roll: an overall average of 86% and maintain an 80% average or higher in each subject area; and Learning Support Honor Roll: an 84% or higher average in the learning support program and maintain an 80% average or higher in each subject area.
Schedule: K-8 meets Monday through Friday, grades 1-8 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., full-day and half-day kindergarten programs, from the Wednesday after Labor Day through early June. Weekly Chapel for K-8. Preschool two, three, or four half-days per week, depending on age.
Discipline: We believe that discipline as discipleship is at the "heart" of education. We as teachers and administrators are to be training and making "disciples," (Matt. 28:20) and modeling good behavior. Our goal in correction and discipline is to help each child see his lost and sinful state and know the true hope that is found in the change that can come only from Christ and His standards.
Calendar of events & student activities: Spelling Bee, speech meet, math competition, music and visual arts competitions, grade 6-8 Science Fair, track and field, Christmas program, spring concert, eighth-grade class trip in addition a full sports and athletic program.
